Giving a voice to the voiceless

Sailor Lady Speaks was made because the more I reached outside of my comfort and safety zone, the more I realized I only end up overwhelming people when I began to open up about myself and my past. I spent over a decade hating myself, feeling guilty, living with immense shame, and isolating myself with crippling self-esteem and no self worth. This blog is dedicated to those that want to get their stories out in a safe space without fear or repercussion of not being believed, or because your past may be too intense for many to handle. The stories shared here are stories that happened to real people, however names and other identifiers will be changed. I ask that anyone that comments or posts content to the site follow the above stipulation as well. Thank you for your time and I hope you and anyone else that has the agony of holding in more than they have been allowed to let out, know that you are never alone.
